Introduction
On 13th March 2014, Asia Aviation Academy (AAA), under Asia Aviation and Technology Co.,Ltd, was founded by Mr. Charnvit Munikanond, Ms. Chollada Munikanond and Gen.Wiphas Tansuhuj upon their mutual passion for aviation.
In accordance with the standards and regulations of ICAO and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), Asia Aviation Academy was approved as an Approved Training Organization (ATO) on 30th June 2015.
Asia Aviation Academy has committed itself to produce airline pilots of international standards and quality. Above all else, we take pride in our contributions to enhance global aviation safety in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). With a fleet of more than 10 aircrafts, including Cessna 172, Cessna 152 and Diamond DA 42 aircraft, along with 3 certified airpark bases, more than 20 highly accomplished pilot instructors and many more qualified maintenance teams, we are competent to provide top-tier courses and flight experiences to every student.
Courses @ Asia Aviation
Asia Aviation Academy has partnered with the International Academy of Aviation Industry, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in launching the first ‘Aeronautical Engineering and Commercial Pilot’ programme in Thailand. The programme offers three years of aeronautical engineering and flight training for their 4th year with our aviation academy. Graduated students will earn both a Bachelor of Engineering as well as be entitled to receive the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). This collaborative undergraduate course aims to prepare prospective pilots with comprehensive aviation knowledge and hands-on flying experience.
Furthermore, Asia Aviation offers range of flight training courses including Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Flight Instructor, Multi-Engine Rating, ATPL Theory, as well as Wings of Discovery program, a transformative three-day pilot experience in Thailand.
Although Asia Aviation Academy presently has three approved flight training bases; including Chumphon, Best Ocean Airpark and Photharam Airport, primary training base is Chumphon airport. Chumphon, located on the western coast of the Gulf of Thailand, is a hidden gem offering a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. Often referred to as the "Gateway to the South," it serves as a popular stopover for travelers heading to the nearby islands of Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, and Koh Samui. Thus, flying in Chumphon provides student pilots with a unique and advantageous training environment. The region offers a mix of coastal and inland landscapes, enabling students to experience diverse flying conditions. With relatively low air traffic, students benefit from a less congested airspace, allowing for more efficient flight training and increased hands-on flying time.
